So February finally decided to bless Birmingham with some some sun, and I certainly took advantage of the day to get a full day of errands done. There was a slight chill in the air so I kept it practical with this faaaabuuuulous blue suede duster coat that I actually found in my mother dearests wardrobe.

I decided to layer this coat with different shades of blue with the mohair jumper for that extra layer of warmth, and rolled up the sleeves of the coat to show texture.

These joni jeans are like my wardrobe staple item that I absolutely always wear most of the time. They are stylish, practical and comfortable to wear if you have a lot going on throughout the day.

It's been a while since I wore a pair of good ole dolly shoes (mainly because it hasn't been warm enough), but today was perfect for bring out these pretty fun Carvela flats for a pop of colour and were practical for doing a lot of walking.

After my errands, I had a lunch date with the girls, so I changed into these gooooorrrggeeoouss colour blocked courts from 'Miss KG' to add some sophistication to the outfit. I am slightly obsessed with these I won't even lie lol, and they are surprisingly very comfortable.

Valentines day is almost here, so I thought I would kick it up a notch and film in the luxurious surroundings of 'Hotel Latour' in Birmingham for a bit of glam. I've put together three outfits that you could wear in different scenarios if you are heading out for the evening or if you just feel like looking fierce.

The Dinner Dress 

The first outfit I opted for was this beautiful red maxi dress from Asos which accentuates the curves. It has the appropriate amount of sophistication because of the length, and has just the right amount of sexiness from the thigh high split and open back. My black peep toe platforms lifts the dress off the floor and elongates my silhouette, making this outfit perfect for dining in an opulent restaurant.

If you're heading out for drinks at the bar, or a singleton just wanting to be fierce and fabulous, then a cocktail dress is perfect! Here I've opted for a bright red skin tight dress from Asos, that has gorgegous cut out details at the neck and the waist. Paired with a statement shoe this dress certainly demands attention for all the right reasons and still remains classy. The outfit is pulled together with this over sized clutch from Dorothy Perkins.

Drinks or a catch up with the girls is never a bad idea and Valentines day is no exception (The pear mojitos at Hotel Latour are everything!) For a scenario like this I would keep it light hearted and fun. I've kept it flirty with a printed circle skirt made by myself, YYYYAAASS I design clothes! I paired it with this racer back black cami from Urban Outfitters to break up the print, and accessorised it with some Miss KG shoes and LBD Gems jewellery.

The the day of all things lovey dovey pink and red is almost upon us! - Yes I am referring to Valentines day. Usually I'm not very fussed about it, that is before I found my prince that I am currently with now (nawwwww) *smiles*. When I discovered a lingerie company called ThirdLove and was presented with their Valentines Day bra personality quiz I was more than happy to do it, and it turns out that I am a '24/7 isn't she lovely lace' bra kind of girl.

I'm quite a girly girl and I love wearing a fabulous dress and going for dinner, so it makes sense to wear a bra suited to the occasion right?  If you're single this Valentines day that doesn't matter at all. Valentines day can be all about loving and appreciating those closest around you whether it be your friends, family or yourself, so don't get down on me ladies. 

I usually find that when I'm wearing a fierce bra I feel great. Although most of the time no one is going to see it, what you wear underneath your clothes can be equally as important as how you present yourself to the world in an outfit everyday.
