Waterfall Coat & Cage Heels: Transition from Day to Night

Outfit

Turtle Neck - H&M (similar here)
Jeans - Topshop
Shoes - Zara
Bag - Urban Outfitters
Rings & Bracelet - LBD Gems

Finally! After a few weeks of no street styles I was able to take advantage of the okayish weather and show you all an outfit. It's been extreamley cold in Birmingham, however I was surprised to find that today was actually a lot warmer, so I decided to bring out this sleeveless coat from Missguided.

Whilst many people see a sleeveless coat as pointless, I think they force you to be creative with how you layer your outfits, this way they are simultaneously practical for the weather and visually appealing.

I decided to go for black to create a real contrast against the softness and brightness of the coat which has these amazing over sized lapels.

Advice: To transition this outfit from day to night, wear this outfit with chelsea boots or ankle boots for more of a casual day look. For the night pair it with some heels for an evening / dinner look, this will add sophistication and make the outfit look dainty.

I layered this black turtle neck under the coat for a more chic look, and the slight mid riff showing adds a bit of sexiness to the outfit without going to far. These 'Joni Jeans' as I've mentioned in previous posts have the best fit if you are curvy, and are far more comfortable than other jeans I've tried *sigh* (the thick thigh struggle lol)

My Accessories as usual are bright and bold from LBD Gems who do great statement rings, but I'm obsessed with the colour of this bracelet which looks very romantic and girly in a subtle way (this would look great with a valentines day outfit).

Last but no least, YAASSSSSS to my shoes! Why are they so fabulous please? These lovelies were purchased from 'Zara' in the sale around a year ago, and they look great with a pair of jeans or a cocktail dress, they instantly make an outfit more interesting.
