Holiday Break

Outfit

Floral Bikini - H&M
Flip Flops - Primark
Sunglasses - Primark

...And relax!
Hi everyone, it's been a couple of weeks since I last blogged, and honestly I've just been extremely busy. Between being a wardrobe assistant for a couple of days on the set of a new tv series, to doing freelance fashion design for another company, and making sure I do normal things like take my vitamins and drink enough water, it means that I haven't really had the time to stop and think about my next move. I haven't been on holiday since 2015, so my sisters and I packed up and decided to come to sunny Turkey for a well earned break!

I love being on holiday, because as well as getting to experience a different country, culture, food and people, it also gives me a chance to clear my head and put things into perspective. I can think about my goals, and the opportunity to do some journaling and some self evaluation is always important to progression.

This year so far I've had some amazing experiences and also some low points too, so this holiday couldn't have come at a better time. I'm honestly having a whale of a time out here, I'm in the sun, I get to wear a bikini, I'm spending time with my sisters and it gave me an excuse to buy summer clothes lool.

The message I would like to leave with everyone on this post, is make sure you enjoy life, life isn't just work or goals, taking time out to relax and reflection is so important. You are no good to anyone burnt out or over worked. Be sure to work hard, but every once in a while relax too - and with that being said, I'm now going to have cocktails at the bar - bye guys! xx :)

Monochrome - Zaful Dress Review #AD

 Outfit

Dress - Zaful
Shirt - George Asda
Shoes - Zara
Bag - My moms wardrobe
Sunglasses - Primark

Hi My lovelies!

It has been for the most part a beautiful week, and the weather is as it should be in June - Sunny! Rewind to a couple of weeks ago when I created a fabulous fashion wishlist from 'Zaful', who kindly sent me two dresses, and what better way to see if a dress lives up to expectations than to dress up.

This keyhole black mini dress is not a silhouette I usually go for, think bodycon and figure hugging - yep that's me, I have a bootay and usually have an issue with dresses like this coming up too short at the back. However I was pleasantly surprised to find that this dress flattered my curves, the length at the back was just right, and I could actually walk without indecently exposing my undies.

What I like about this dress is that it's a simple, which means it can be worn for a variety of occasions, including a smart business lunch during the day when paired with a crisp white shirt, or on a dinner date without the shirt to reveal a bit of cleavage from the detail of the keyhole.

One thing that is important to mention is that, in order to really make this dress stand out, it needs a real statement shoe to carry it off, otherwise it can look a little boring.

The 2nd (sequin) dress however was not good, I love the style and the colour but unfortunately when it arrived it looked like a top, the sequins were falling off, and it was far to small for me. It was a medium size but wouldn't cover past my hips, so although Zaful have some nice items, you may have to go a size up to really get the fit you want and the quality is questionable.

Over all its a thumbs up from me for this little black number, I love my keyhole dress, and can't wait to wear for my Mr on date night :)
