Hello my lovelies!
Between the 'Beast from the East' and this relentless bitter cold, updating on my blog has somewhat been a bit of a challenge, and standing in the freezing temperatures to take aesthetically pleasing pictures while I pretend to look away can be a task when you are freezing. However on Monday the sky graced us with some lovely sun, and although it wasn't warm I decided to take full advantage and wear my gorgeous rib dress from 'Reiss'.



I really do like 'Reiss' as a brand, and although their prices can be pretty steep for a bargain hunter like myself, when you need a sophisticated classic piece for your wardrobe that will be there as a staple for 2 years - 'Reiss' is the place to go. The quality, fit and finish is on point, and if you want a warm body con dress to wear then this store definitely has some. My Advice, spend the money and invest in a good quality piece you know you will wear a lot and you will save more money in the long  run.

I love that this rib is thick so that I won't freeze if I choose to wear it with some thing light like a biker jacket or an over coat. The dress also has beautiful scalloped edging on the armholes which adds to those subtle design details that I expect to see from a brand like 'Reiss'

This dress is a what I call a 'multi-purpose' staple, wear it with some court shoes during the day to work to show you mean business, and then at night pair it with a clutch and some sling backs like I have here and you're ready to party and drop it like it's hot.

 These black, white and navy stripes that the rib is made from is great because they contour to your body and create these fantastic illusion lines on your body.
